What to do with your unused bikes?

Do you have bicycles that you don’t use anymore?

Want to give them a second life?

Maybe they are not working anymore, but a few components can be reused?

Your options in Brussels (for other cities, send us your suggestions, and we add it to this page):

1. Sell your bike or its components

2. Donate your bike

Molembike

For bikes that still work: Molembike (Brussels), works also with disadvantaged families: Molembike.be.

Contact: Joëlle Carpentier, ideally in French: carpentier.joelle@gmail.com

If the bike doesn’t work, you can repair it first in one of their workshops.

Cyclo.org

For bikes that still work: Cyclo.org – Unused bikes. They also have a service that comes to collect if you have several bikes.

If the bike doesn’t work, you can get it repaired.

Atelier Voot

Bike donations acepted.

They recycle pieces of non-functioning bikes.

You can also participate to a repair workshop to make your bike working again, before donating.

3. Depose as waste

If the bike is in poor condition, it doesn’t work anymore, take it to the nearest recycling park. If there are parts that are still working, you can take them off, and sell/donate it.
