The European Cyclists’ Federation has published the first cycling barometer, and Belgium ranks a respectable 6th out 27. The ECF assessed countries according to daily cycling levels, cycle tourism, advocacy activity, bicycle sales and cyclists’ safety.  

Encouraging news. Though no doubt our adoptive country would have scored even higher, had Brussels been taken out of the equation…
